4 Week Nutrition Course (Free for Personal Training Members)

If you have been thinking of starting personal training this is the perfect opportunity to start as we are currently offering our personal training members a free place on our in-jouse nutrition course. This is a four week course in practical nutrition, running from 7pm-8pm on Tuesdays, and starting on the 23rd of April.

In the course we will cover the following topics:

  • The principles of nutrition for long lasting improvement of body composition

  • Goal setting for improved body composition

  • Practical actions each week to focus on to make the required changed to your day to day nutrition for long term success

  • How to effectively measure progress on a regular basis to track progress.

  • Developing awareness of the many marketing and advertising fads that influence your nutritional choices

  • How to form positive habits for nutritional success

  • Portion sizes and nutrient timing

  • Meal plans, diets, and supplements

  • Adapting your environment and your kitchen to suit your goals

  • How to make healthy eating enjoyable and affordable

  • The effect of sleep on body composition

The purpose of this course is to give you a solid foundation of knowledge and practical advice to implement positive change in your day to day nutrition, to give you the opportunity to be a part of a small group who are in the same boat as you, as well as giving you access to professional advice and coaching.

The nutritional approach taught in this course is based on building healthy habits one at a time and creating an effective approach to nutrition that fits with your personal circumstances, schedule,. and goals. There are no supplements to buy, no diets to go on, no fads to start, and no gimmicks.

The course will take place in the social space of the ACLAÍ training facility, is capped at 10 places, and will be facilitated by Managing Director and Head Coach of ACLAÍ, Ainle Ó Cairealláín. Ainle has 15 years of coaching experience, holds a Masters in Biomechanics (University of Limerick), is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA), Certified Special Population Specialist (NSCA), and Precision Nutrition Coach.
