Source of healthy Carbs, good fats and protein. Ideal for the grab and go or for a post workout snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup of gluten free oats
  • 50g coconut flour
  • 20g raw cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons of stevia (add to how sweet you like it)
  • 3 scoops of whey protein powder (I used chocolate)
  • 3 teaspoons of cinnamon
  • Handful of dried cranberries
  • Handful of gogi berries
  • Handful of chopped hazelnuts
  • Handful of sliced almonds

*any nuts, seeds or dried fruits you like can be added

Directions

  • Mix all the ingredients into a large bowl
  • Add 2 cups of boiling water
  • Mix until all contents is wet and like a cake batter
  • Allow to sit for 15 minutes to allow the oats to absorb the water
  • Spread onto parchment paper about a cm thick
  • Sprinkle almond flakes on top
  • Preheat oven
  • Bake at 180 degrees for 16-20 minutes depending how gooey you want them
  • Allow to cool
  • Chop into bars and job done! enjoy
